How do I get my birth chart?

You can generate your birth chart through Scope. Just enter your birth date, exact birth time, and birth location during onboarding, and we'll calculate your full chart including your Big Three, planetary placements, and houses.

Why is birth time so important?

Your birth time determines your rising sign and house placements. The rising sign changes approximately every two hours, so even a small error in birth time can give you the wrong rising sign and shift all your house placements.

What if I don't know my birth time?

You can still learn a lot from a chart set for noon on your birthday. You'll get accurate information about your Sun, Moon (usually), and planetary signs. However, your rising sign and house placements won't be reliable.

Is my birth chart the same as my horoscope?

Not exactly. Your birth chart is a fixed map of the sky at your birth. A horoscope typically refers to predictions based on current planetary movements (transits) interacting with your birth chart. Your birth chart never changes; horoscopes describe what's happening now.

Can two people have the same birth chart?

Theoretically, two people born at the exact same time and place would have identical birth charts. In practice, this is extremely rare. Even twins born minutes apart can have different rising signs.
