Frequently Asked Questions
How do I start receiving readings?
Sign up at tryscope.chat, enter your birth details, and subscribe to start your daily readings.
You'll receive your personalized reading at your chosen time each day via iMessage or in-app chat, depending on your setup.
How do I pause or stop messages?
You can turn off daily readings under Settings → Messaging at any time. iMessage users can also text STOP to Scope.
To resume, turn readings back on in Settings or send Scope a message.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Scope account. Go to Settings → Subscription to view, change, or cancel your subscription.
You can also email us at support@tryscope.chat for help with subscription changes.
Why am I not receiving messages?
Make sure you have an active subscription and that you've sent Scope a message first. Scope can't text you until you start the conversation.
Check that messages are enabled in your settings. iMessage users: make sure iMessage is enabled on your device. In-app chat users: make sure push notifications are enabled. Contact us if issues persist.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account and all data from your account: Settings → Profile → Delete Account. Or email us at support@tryscope.chat.
Who is Scope?
Scope is your AI astrologer. It generates your personalized readings based on your birth chart and current planetary transits.
You can text Scope anytime with questions about your reading, relationships, career, or anything on your mind.
Do I need iMessage?
Nope! Scope works with or without iMessage. If you have an Apple device, you can get your horoscope delivered via iMessage. If not, sign up with your email and use our in-app chat — it works on any device.
You'll get the same personalized readings either way.
How accurate is my birth chart?
Very accurate. We use the Swiss Ephemeris, the same astronomical data from NASA JPL that professional astrologers rely on.
For the best readings, include your exact birth time and location. If you don't know your birth time, we use noon as a default.
